Associate Director, TOArts

Niki Chopra Richardson is the Associate Director of TOArts, the private nonprofit fundraising and presenting partner of the publicly owned Bank of America Performing Arts Center in Thousand Oaks, CA. TOArts is the largest presenter of shows at the two-theatre complex. Niki earned her MBA in International Marketing from Pepperdine University in 2001 and has been a fundraiser ever since. She has helped raise revenue, resources, and awareness for nonprofits in Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties. The daughter of a Merchant Navy captain, she sailed around the world with her parents before she turned 16. She and her husband are equal opportunities foodies, enjoying cuisine at Michelin star restaurants and street carts and everything in between. She writes a food and travel blog called www.thegalavantinggastronome.com blending her love for both. She lives in Camarillo with her husband and two teenage kids. They love hiking kayaking and playing Bananagrams as a family. She is a certified yoga teacher and writes spiritual poetry. She is a passionate advocate of putting the oxygen mask on oneself first. She is proud to have passed on her love for afternoon naps and philanthropy to her 13-year-old son who is TOArts' youngest donor.
