Charitable Consultant, Everence Foundation

Elyse M. Kauffman is the Charitable Consultant with the Everence Foundation as part of the Central Pennsylvania team; a position she has held for nearly five years. Elyse joined Everence with more than 15 years of fundraising experience in the nonprofit sector - serving both large and small organizations including: a hospital, a college, and a community organization that serves children with disabilities. She has a diverse background in understanding the needs of donors and of charitable organizations and serves individuals, families, and nonprofit organizations in Central PA in charitable giving through Everence Charitable Services. Elyse earned her bachelor's degree from York College of PA in public relations and speech communications, and an MBA from the same institution. Currently, Elyse is enrolled in a doctoral program studying Organizational Leadership and Education - also at York College. Elyse was awarded the 2023 National Charitable Consultant of the Year for Everence; her and her team raised more than $25M last year. She, and her husband, Justin, and their two daughters - Charlotte Jane and Vanessa Claire - live outside of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
